What is FRAME ?
FRAME is a training program organized by INA with the support of FIAT/IFTA and the EBU Academy. It consists of 5 different components: FRAME Basics, FRAME Advanced, FRAME Mentoring, FRAME e-learning, FRAME Expert. The program is co-funded by the European Commission’s Creative Europe Media program.
Who is FRAME for ?
FRAME is for audiovisual archive professionals worldwide, regardless of their area of expertise (digitization, conservation, AI, documentation, metadata, valorization, production, etc.). The program is designed with sessions of different levels (Basics or Advanced) and themes (Access or Tech) to meet all needs and profiles. In what language are the training sessions conducted ?
The synchronous sessions (Basic / Advanced / Expert) are conducted in English. The e-learning training modules are all available in English, French, and Spanish. The FRAME Mentoring program requires proficiency in English but can also be conducted in different languages (depending on the profiles of the mentors and mentees).
I don't know which session to register for, what should I do ?
FRAME offers different sessions, adapted to the profiles and expectations of each audiovisual archive professional. If you are hesitating between several sessions, you can complete the positioning questionnaire. You can also contact us through the dedicated form.
How are participants selected for the FRAME program ?
Participants in the FRAME Basics, Advanced, and Mentoring sessions are selected through a call for applications. This is opened a few months before the relevant session. Applications are then reviewed by a selection committee that establishes the final list of participants based on their professional project, motivation, coherence between their profile and needs, and the relevant session, etc. Application conditions are published at the same time as each call.

To follow the e-learning modules, you just need to register on the site. Once reviewed by our educational team, your registration will be validated.
Is it necessary to have completed FRAME Basics to register for FRAME Advanced ?
No, experienced professionals or those who have received training in the field can participate in FRAME Advanced without having previously participated in FRAME Basics. Professionals who have participated in FRAME Basics can also apply for FRAME Advanced
I have already attended a FRAME session a few years ago, am I eligible to participate in a new training ?
Absolutely! The program evolves and the content is updated in each session. So if you have already participated in FRAME in the past and want to discover the latest professional trends, don’t hesitate to come back!
How much does it cost to register for FRAME ?
The FRAME team strives to keep a moderate price for participating in the different sessions.
– FRAME Expert: Free for participants registered for the FIAT/IFTA world conference.
– FRAME Mentoring: All costs of the FRAME Mentoring session are financed by the program.
– FRAME Basics: Registration for FRAME Basics costs €600 (€300 for scholarship holders).
– FRAME Advanced: €1,250 (Scholarship holders: €800). A €50 reduction is granted to people joining the training by train.
– FRAME e-learning: each module is billed separately. The rates are visible in the catalog on the site.
Are accommodation costs covered by the registration fees for FRAME Advanced ?
Yes, accommodation costs are included in the registration fees for FRAME Advanced for all participants, for 6 nights
Are travel expenses covered by the registration fee for FRAME Advanced?
No, travel expenses are the responsibility of the participants in FRAME Advanced. A €50 reduction is granted on the registration fees for participants joining the training location by train. Participants receiving a scholarship have their transport costs covered.
Can I use CPF or AFDAS funding to finance this training ?
No, FRAME cannot be financed by a CPF or covered by AFDAS.
When will I receive the invoice ?
For FRAME Basics and FRAME Advanced, the invoice is issued in the days following the end of the training. For FRAME e-learning, the invoice is issued after the analysis by our registration officers of the received request. Access to the modules is then opened once payment is received.
Can I pay for my FRAME e-learning registration online ?
Not at the moment. Following your registration request, you will receive an invoice to be paid by bank transfer or Paypal.
What are the payment methods for registering for FRAME ?
The preferred payment method is bank transfer. It is also possible to pay via Paypal. Credit card payments are not possible at the moment.
I can't find my identifier/password, what can I do ?
You can retrieve your identifier/reset your password directly from the login window using the dedicated buttons.
I registered for a course but it does not appear on my dashboard

I made a mistake in selecting my program
In accordance with our Terms and Conditions, you have a 15-day withdrawal period provided you have not started the relevant module. After this period or for any module started, it will not be possible to cancel/modify your order.
How long do I have to complete a purchased course ?
Your access to FRAME e-learning is valid for 6 months. You have all the time you need to complete the different modules you are following.
I didn't have time to finish within the allotted time, can I extend my access ?
Unfortunately not.

Will I receive a training certificate for my e-learning course ?
You will receive a certificate if you complete the entire course and validate the evaluations you are enrolled in. You can find your certificates on your dashboard.
